"I booked with Michelle specifically for my birthday nails before vacation after finding her on TikTok and seeing great reviews, so I had high expectations. I had called beforehand asking about gel manicure and overlay pricing, and nothing was mentioned about Michelle only doing certain services. When I arrived, I felt unwelcome from the start. I was told I could go to “anyone” for gel nails, even though I specifically booked with Michelle. After explaining it was my birthday and a special appointment, she agreed to do my nails, but the whole service felt rushed and uninterested. During the appointment, she repeatedly discussed my appointment with coworkers, which made me uncomfortable, and overall the experience felt unprofessional. Unfortunately, I was also unhappy with the final result and didn’t feel comfortable speaking up because of the atmosphere. Very disappointing, especially for a first visit and special occasion. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for an important event or as a first-time client, and I’d suggest clarifying services beforehand if booking with Michelle."

"This is honestly one of the WORST nail salons I’ve ever been to. My nails were not shaped or cleaned properly, and the gel polish is messy, lumpy, and streaky. Some parts of my toes are literally missing polish… like how do you even mess that up? I paid $57 (including a $5 tip) for this, which is actually crazy because the service felt rushed and careless the entire time. I left there genuinely mad at how bad my toes looked. I’ve gone to salons in Brooklyn that charge way less and do a MUCH better job every single time. This was a complete waste of money. I do NOT recommend this place at all, and I will definitely not be coming back."

"Michelle and her team are absolutely THE BEST !!! They are not only the kindest people but they do an amazing job. I have been coming here for 3 years to get gel pedicures from Anna and GelX fills from Michelle and there is no where else I would go in manhattan to get my nails or toes done after going to elegant nails and spa. Prices are great, amazing service and beautiful nails !!"
